8. Copyright Ownership

All photographs, digital artwork, video content, graphic designs, and creative materials produced by

MightyMauls are the sole and exclusive intellectual property of MightyMauls, protected under

United States copyright law (17 U.S.C. § 101 et seq.) and applicable international treaties.Copyright protection exists automatically upon creation. No image, graphic, or creative work produced

by MightyMauls may be reproduced, distributed, displayed, modified, or used for commercial purposes

without explicit written permission.

This applies to:

• All images delivered to clients (unless otherwise specified in a signed licensing agreement)

• Portfolio work displayed on this website and on MightyMauls social media channels

• Digital art, composites, and edited works

• Behind-the-scenes content and undelivered images

9. Client Image Licensing

When MightyMauls completes a photography or creative session and delivers images to a client, the

following applies unless a separate written agreement states otherwise:

What clients receive:

A limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal use license to the delivered images. This license

permits clients to:

• Print images for personal display

• Share images on personal social media accounts with credit to MightyMauls

• Use images in personal digital communications

What clients do NOT receive:

• Copyright ownership or authorship

• The right to sell, sublicense, or transfer images to third parties

• The right to use images for commercial advertising, product packaging, or paid media without a

separate commercial license

• The right to remove, alter, or obscure watermarks or copyright metadata

Commercial use:

Clients requiring commercial rights (advertising, product promotion, editorial publication, brand

campaigns, etc.) must obtain a separate Commercial License Agreement. Contact us at

mishan@mightymauls.com to discuss licensing terms and fees.

10. Photography Credit & Attribution

MightyMauls requests credit whenever delivered images are published or shared online. Preferred

credit: "Photo: MightyMauls / mightymauls.com"

While credit is not always legally required under the personal use license, it supports our work and is

greatly appreciated.

11. Model Releases & Right of Publicity

For portrait and event sessions: By engaging MightyMauls for a photography session, clients and

any subjects who have signed a model release consent to MightyMauls' use of resulting images for

portfolio display, website use, social media promotion, and marketing materials, unless a restriction is

agreed upon in writing prior to the session.

Revocation: If you do not wish for your images to appear in our portfolio or marketing materials, you

must notify us in writing before the session begins. Post-session revocation requests will be honored on

a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed where images have already been published.

Minors: Sessions involving subjects under 18 require a signed model release from a parent or legal

guardian before any images may be used for portfolio or promotional purposes.

12. Commercial & Brand Photography

Images produced under commercial photography agreements are subject to the specific terms outlined

in the signed project contract, including:

• Usage territory and duration

• Permitted media and placement

• Exclusivity (if negotiated)

• Usage outside contracted scope requires additional licensing fees

MightyMauls retains the right to include commercially produced images in its portfolio unless the client

has purchased confidentiality or exclusivity terms.

13. Print Sales & Reproduction Rights

Prints purchased through MightyMauls are sold for personal display only. Purchase of a print does

not transfer copyright or grant any right to reproduce, scan, copy, or re-sell the image. Unauthorized

reproduction of purchased prints is a violation of U.S. copyright law and may result in legal action.

14. Unauthorized Use & Enforcement

Unauthorized use of MightyMauls' copyrighted material — including downloading, screenshotting,

cropping, re-posting without credit, or using images commercially without a license — may result in:

• A takedown request (DMCA notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512)

• An invoice for retroactive licensing fees

• Legal action for copyright infringement

We actively monitor for unauthorized use of our work.

15. Digital Media Consulting — Confidentiality

Information shared with MightyMauls in the course of a consulting engagement is treated as

confidential. We will not disclose client business information, strategies, data, or materials to third

parties without written consent. Deliverables produced during consulting engagements are governed by

the terms of the applicable project agreement.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most

recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
